As the ATP Tour competes at Indian Wells, the ATP Challenger Tour opens its first two Challenger 175 events of 2026 with tournaments in Phoenix and the Dominican Republic running March 9–15. Both tournaments arrive early in the North American swing and bring top-50 players, seasoned contenders and rising talents to two contrasting venues.

Now in its sixth edition, the Arizona Tennis Classic returns to the Phoenix Country Club, offering an intimate setting for fans and players. “Being positioned between Indian Wells and Miami gives players a great opportunity to stay competitive during one of the most important stretches of the season,” said Jonathan Levine, tournament founder. “We’re excited to once again host a world-class field in Phoenix.”

The Phoenix draw is headed by world No. 33 Corentin Moutet, who receives a first-round bye and will face the winner of Quentin Halys versus a qualifier. Known for creative shot-making and an unpredictable style, Moutet is expected to be a crowd attraction. Second seed Zizou Bergs, ranked 47th, is scheduled to open against either Benjamin Bonzi or Alexander Bolt. French veteran Adrian Mannarino and Nuno Borges complete the top four seeds. Mannarino begins against the winner of Mitchell Krueger against a qualifier; Borges awaits either James Duckworth or Jan-Lennard Struff. Joao Fonseca was the champion in Phoenix last year.

On the Caribbean coast, the República Dominicana Open – Copa Cap Cana stages its second edition at the Racquet Village in Cap Cana. Top seed Miomir Kecmanovic, listed at world No. 58, will face either Mackenzie McDonald or Luca Nardi in his opening match. Valentin Royer leads the bottom half and will start his campaign against the winner of Roberto Bautista-Agut versus David Goffin.

Third seed Damir Dzumhur could meet Roman Andres Burruchaga or a qualifier, while No. 4 seed Hubert Hurkacz awaits the winner of Francesco Maestrelli against Mattia Bellucci. Local wild card Nick Hardt opens against sixth seed Mariano Navone.

The Cap Cana venue blends modern courts and an intimate stadium with a resort setting near Punta Cana’s beaches, making both stops distinct entries on the Challenger calendar.
