Rybakina’s US Open windfall reshapes the 2026 WTA prize money race

Elena Rybakina’s US Open triumph has lifted her clear at the top of the 2026 WTA prize money standings, while Mirra Andreeva has slipped down the order.

After beating two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in three sets at Flushing Meadows, Rybakina collected $5,500,000, the biggest prize in Grand Slam history. That payday pushed the newly crowned world No 1 into a strong lead in the season earnings race.

The list still features the familiar high earners, including Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula, while major champions Andreeva and Linda Noskova remain among the top names. Sixty-five players have already passed $1,000,000 in prize money this season, with Alycia Parks the latest to join that group after her US Open run took her total to $1,002,647.

There are 23 players above the $2 million mark and 11 who have reached at least $3 million.

A few notable names sit outside the upper reaches. Amanda Anisimova, who earned $7,260,577 last year, is No 27 with $1,941,395. She is two places behind Alex Eala, who has earned $1,972,305 so far in 2026, while Madison Keys is No 23 on $2,000,182 after finishing ninth on last year’s earnings list with $4,357,787.

At the top end, Rybakina leads Sabalenka by a clear margin after collecting the Australian Open title earlier in the season and adding the US Open crown. Sabalenka, meanwhile, remains second after runner-up finishes in Melbourne and New York, plus titles in Indian Wells, Miami and Brisbane.

Noskova’s breakthrough season has taken her to third on the list, while Gauff and Andreeva round out the top five. Jessica Pegula sits sixth, and the rest of the top 10 includes Karolina Muchova, Marta Kostyuk, Elina Svitolina and Iga Swiatek.
